This page explains how our content is made, so you know how much weight to give it.

Types of content

  • Pre-match prediction guides and match analysis: written and signed by the editorial desk for each sport, explaining the reasoning and the conclusion.
  • Prediction reviews: after the matches, we check how our pre-match predictions turned out and examine why any missed.
  • Team and season trends: squads, tactics and season outlooks.
  • Betting knowledge: explainers on odds, betting lines and competition formats.

Data sources

  • Odds: from The Odds API, mainly Pinnacle’s lines, refreshed once a day. Odds keep moving until kick-off, so the numbers on the page are a snapshot from the last refresh — rely on the live line before kick-off.
  • Fixtures, results and standings: from public match data and official schedules.
  • Match statistics (shots, expected goals/xG, etc.): when writing prediction reviews we consult public match-statistics sites (for example Sofascore, ESPN and FotMob). xG figures differ slightly between sources, so articles present them as ranges.
  • Player and people links: names of players in articles link to Wikipedia purely as background reference.

How predictions are written

Each match is read through a fixed set of angles: recent form, injuries and squad, home advantage, what the odds say about market sentiment, head-to-head history, new-signing chemistry, schedule density and so on. The conclusion states a clear position and the reasons for it.

The “odds-implied chances” shown on homepage cards are pure arithmetic: odds converted to probabilities, with the bookmaker’s margin removed. They reflect the market’s view, not our prediction.

How we use AI

We use AI tools in producing the site — for example to help polish articles, check facts and match data, and translate articles into other languages. The views, the conclusions, and the analysis of what actually happens in the matches are the editorial desk’s responsibility. Some of the short match predictions on the homepage are written with AI assistance.

Prediction reviews and corrections

We regularly publish prediction reviews that openly check our pre-match predictions, including the ones that missed, and explain where the judgment went wrong. If you spot a factual error (a score, a player detail, a date), email eugeneyu@maxora.ai; once confirmed we correct it directly and, where appropriate, note the update in the article.

Independence

The site currently receives no fees, commissions or sponsorship from any betting operator, and it contains no links that send you to betting operators. The site may use advertising services such as Google AdSense; advertising does not affect how content is written.
